andrews writing

I've been writing since i was 3 years old,but my writing was scribbles or cursive scribbles.I really thought my scribbles was real writing. At the age of 5 i was getting in my 5 year writing skill and my writing wasn't that great.1st grade its like my basketball and football skill just like my first grade writing, but my best friend loved my writing because i use to write neat and my best friend understood everything i wrote, because he went through what i went through. At the age of 7 i was in second grade fooling around with my writing and I started getting sloppy with my writing, but then i thought writing was fun because i used to write about everything. At the age of 9 i was in fourth grade my writing skills skyrocket and so did my neatness too.but i hated when i write so much details and not the main idea.Me and writing was like best friends just like me and my sports was best friends because i used to write so much and played a lot of sports but i still do.At fifth grade i moved to Michigan ,my grandparents always made me write because my grandparents wanted me to be the best in writing. In sixth grade i was back in new york and my writing was still on top of everything my grade year i was an honor roll student and was an A plus ,B plus student but my writing skills decreased in the end of the year because i never did nothing in most classes. In seventh grade my writing skills was okay, but my skills was still seventh grade level.but in class i was too nervous to write because i thought people would judge my writing skills or my neatness.but at the end of the seventh grade year, i felt more comfortable in class and got a lot better with my writing. In the beginning of eighth my writing was a little better than seventh grade but i still wrote more details then the main idea and by the middle of the school year i was doing least of the details and more of the main idea and i remember that i hated writing essays because that was so much writing and i couldn't give out of out a lot of information.but in like February between march i started liking essays because they was pretty easy, but only if u have the correct information, at the end of the year my writing skills with essays and stuff like that got a lot better than the beginning of the year.

arlene writing

writing!writing!writing! MM well i like to wright i think its a good way to let your thoughts out and a good way to make awesome story.but to tell you the truth even though i like, it did not mean i was necessarily good at it. when i wrote it was good and all but it needed to be more organize and the grammar needed much help, but with the help with amazing teachers who were tough but good and the more practice i got the more better it was. i have to admit i get a little board when writing S.A but what can i do that school for you to help and approve you and your work for it to great. my teachers helped me and i stared to get better my writing was coming out more how can i say professional. people could actually read it and understand the way its a post to be. i learned new technique and skills that helped me along the way to becoming a better writer. i am very thank for that because now when i write a S.A or Evan just write it comes out the way its a post to be.

Andrews reading reflection

Once i started reading at the age of 4 and i understand reading and i could pronounce every word i saw ,i stopped reading for a year. The worst part about it was my reading got worst. At 1st grade i hated reading because reading was so boring and reading wasn't interesting to me.In third grade i found read kind of fun in some kind of way because most of the books i read was fun.For example, like sports, history and life.but if it wasn't those three it was automatically boring to me.5 th grade moved to michigan and played football and my reading got a lot better because my grandparents used to beg me to read a couple of books and football was basically like reading to me because every time i see an difficult word came i will attack the word like in football. In 6th grade im back in New York and my reading slacked off a little because i read so much books in michigan i found it boring again an i read when i was suppose to read.7th grade i played my second year football and now words in 7th was a little difficult so if i found something difficult i looked up in the dictonary or take an educated guesses. In the future i know that when i have a job im going to have to read and now i know that reading is really important. In the 8th grade i started of a little lost and reading skills wasn't high enough for 8th grade ,then january i was getting a little successful with my reading and i was reading books a little difficult than my level skyrocketed just a little. Now i feel like successful with my reading now.For example, reading michael jordan was a great biography book.Other example, was the phantom tollbooth was a little difficult but i pushed through it.Final example, is a book called NO PROBLEM and it was averaged but i went right through that book.I read at home like game books or read my independent reading book.

This is my reading response..

Arlene journey to reading

my reading life "wow" that's all i can say! my name is Arlene and my reading throughout past years have bin rough. i was a person who who hated to read and did not care much about it and Evan though people said it is good for you and it helps your brain i ignored it. the only time i would read was if i was told which is in school.on top of that i was a picking reader i only like to read non fiction i know i know weird but it was me and i found it better than make believe. also the fact that it was about a person and what she/he was going through in real life was interesting because than i might be able to relate in some and say she went through and i went through it. i guess it was the fact that i could connect in my own personal way. reading was boring and when i did like a book i just think i almost done yes. but as time past i realized it was not so bad but i still had start Reading fiction. i also realized around 7 grade when i did read i couldn't summarize it. when i would read i am reading the the words but not thinking what it mean or having a picture in my head. teacher would help me but couldn't remember only little parts. it stood that way for a while i was scared going into 8th grade like that but it was ok, because when we read we got to write it down which i think help me a lot because the more i did it the more memorize what i read, but not in a journal but in my head. my reading still needed diversity i tired and one day my sis told me about a book called the notebook she told me to read it and i did and you know what i loved it. it had just the right amount of romance, love, compassion, drama and sadness which was right up my ally.the most exciting thing about it, was that it was non-fiction and if you remember i did not like non- fiction, but this is a great book it was about two lover who who could not stay apart and the sweetest thing about it is that there in a nursing home and every day hes tells them how they met to how they stay together because she has old timers so is hoping her memory comes back. this love story is beautiful and actually expanded my reading in meaning trying different genre of books. i learned my self to give things a try don't stick to one thing. my reading from there on was better than ever. my thoughts about reading went away because now i actually like to and plus people say it makes you smarter and i need it once in a while doesn't ever one need it.
